DongBaiJu’s Standard Installation Guide (Safe & Compliant)
1. Pre-Install Prep
- Check all parts: uprights, beams, safety pins, anchor bolts, foot pads
- Ensure floor is level & load-bearing; clean & clear the area
- Prepare tools: laser level, torque wrench, rubber mallet, tape measure
- Mark layout lines per design (account for load capacity & teardrop holes)
2. Assemble Upright Frames
- Attach foot pads to upright bases
- Install cross braces & diagonal braces from bottom up; hand-tighten bolts first
- Use laser level to check verticality; fully tighten bolts once aligned
3. Position & Anchor Uprights
- Place uprights at marked positions; use shims for minor floor adjustments
- Drill & install anchor bolts; tighten to specified torque (critical for heavy loads)
- Double-check vertical alignment (≤1mm/m tolerance)
4. Install Beams (Teardrop Hole Compatible)
- Align beam hooks with upright teardrop holes; press firmly to lock
- Install all safety pins to prevent beam disengagement
- Ensure beams are level; check height consistency across rows
- Tighten bolts (if used) to rated torque for heavy-duty racks
5. Add Accessories & Final Check
- Install layer boards, mesh decks, or support bars
- Add upright guards, column protectors, or safety rails
- Inspect: verticality, bolt torque, beam locking, stability
- Verify load capacity labels are visible & correct
DongBaiJu Key Notes
- Installation must match rated load & design specs
- Teardrop holes allow easy height adjustment—ensure full engagement
- Poor anchoring/misalignment causes most failures (Southeast Asia case proven)
- We provide AS4084 & RMI compliant installation guidance for every project
